So here I am coming back from another long hot dusty day in TamilNadu…. Ters this place on the by pass wer I take the service road… Cos it goes up sharply as if ur driving into the sky and dips really fast…. Then u enter at this point wer ters a traffic signal… Now this is wer u have a free run. Cos most of the cars are at the light and u can just zoom off…. Now my baby got remapped recently… Again… and revving like crazy…. I never had a chance to unleash the beast…. Crazy shit traffic all the time… I noticed a brand new Merc in front of me when I entered the service road…. At the junction I find the traffic signal red and all the cars are held up… I enter the main road and get ready to let the horses gallop…. But the Merc in front of me has the same idea and both of us just gun it….. Im flooring and up shifting like mad….. But what do I see….. The Merc just pulls and pulls and pulls away…. It’s flying off like a missile …. So I think ters something wrong with the car…. Y isn’t it moving…. Then I look at the speedo…. Its doin bloody 145+ kmph and the Merc is disappearing …it must be doin …. 200+..
……. at tat point I decided… B4 I die I need to get a Merc ……and nothing less than an AMG

Brilliantly written! Havent done the flooring thing in a while and you make me want to. Reminds me of the time i did 180 on my old honda city on the salem-blore road and almost got blown away from the road. Even then there were Merc aristocracy zooming past me without even breaking a sweat. Try the new gle amg

After reading this, i feel like taking my car for a spin n push down the accelerator n never let go! In this traffic ridden city glad u found a spot you can do that. I’ll be visiting it soon!!!!!!!!!! Waiting to see more!

It wakes up the petrolhead in me and can feel the revvs, upshifts and horses pulling the chassis forward as you put the pedal to the metal !

Aaah….an interesting car article after a long time. Can imagine the exhilaration. Would be great to drive a Merc or BMW at such speeds.. Not an AMG fan as they are overkill especially in India. Wouldn’t mind an M though. Wishing you many more hours of happy motoring and look forward to hearing tales about your adventures.
